Free AI visibility checker · for law firms

Does ChatGPT recommend your law firm?

Short answer: find out in about a minute. More clients now ask ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity who to hire instead of searching Google. This checker asks all three the same questions a client would ask in your city, then shows whether your firm comes up, and which firms do.

Your firm

We never tell the AI your firm’s name. We ask the neutral question a client would, then check the answer for you.

Helps us spot you when an AI links your site instead of writing your name.

Takes about a minute. ChatGPT searches the web before it answers, the same as it does for your clients.

What the check shows you

Whether you’re recommended
Question by question, for each AI: recommended, mentioned in passing, not named, or read your website and picked someone else.
Who gets named instead
The firms and attorneys each AI put forward, and how often across every answer.
Where the answers came from
The directories the AIs read first. For law firms they are often Expertise.com, Super Lawyers, Avvo and Justia, which makes those the profiles to fix before anything else.
What to fix first

How this works

What is an AI visibility checker?

It measures whether AI assistants name your business when someone asks them for a recommendation. This one is built for law firms: it asks ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity the questions a prospective client would ask in your city, then reads each answer for your firm.

Is this what my clients actually see?

Close to it. ChatGPT is asked through its own search-enabled interface from a United States location. Gemini and Perplexity are asked with web search turned on. Answers shift from day to day and from person to person, so treat one run as a snapshot, and run it again in a month.

Why doesn’t it ask about my firm by name?

Because your clients don’t. Someone looking for a lawyer asks who the best one is in their city. Asking about you by name would tell you the AI knows you exist, which isn’t the same as the AI recommending you.

What does “read your site” mean?

The AI used your website as one of its sources while writing the answer, then recommended other firms. It can reach you. It just didn’t pick you.

How is this different from the AI Crawler Check?

The AI Crawler Check tests whether AI crawlers can read your website. This checker tests what the AIs actually say when a client asks for a lawyer. A site can pass the first and still go unnamed in the second.

How do I get AI to recommend my firm?

Start with the directories the AIs cite in your report, then reviews, then a website that states plainly what you handle and where. Our GEO service for immigration law firms does that work for you.
